WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Surpasses Last Year’s Attendance by 20K Fans

WWE is on track to break its own record for PLE events. There was a lot of talk in the community because of the price increase for Royal Rumble 2025, but the latest numbers show it didn’t affect the event at all. As a result, Lucas Oil Stadium is expecting 20,000 more fans this year than last year’s Royal Rumble.

In 1997, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, set the previous record with 60,447 fans in attendance. But this year’s turnout is nothing short of amazing. As of February 1, WWE has sold a huge 66,120 tickets, with just 570 left. The stadium can hold up to 66,690 fans, meaning it’s almost sold out.

It’s surprising because just a few days ago, fans were criticising the high ticket prices of Royal Rumble 2025. Now, the massive spike in ticket sales has shocked everyone in the community.

To put it into perspective, last year’s Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, only had 46,082 fans, meaning this year’s event has already beaten it by more than the 20,000 mark.

Fans react to Royal Rumble 2025’s exclusive ticket sale

The WWE Royal Rumble 2025 is getting a lot of attention for its amazing lineup and special ticket sales. Fans are excited, but some are shocked by the high ticket prices. Many people like the event’s energy and uniqueness.

Many think the prices are fair because of the high demand and the excellent matches. In addition, the news that John Cena will be part of the Men’s Royal Rumble match has also helped boost ticket sales, with many fans excited to see him in action one last time.
