Who would’ve thought that in the same month when Islam Makhachev will be taking on Alexander Volkanovski for the P4p number 1 ranking in Perth, we would see another high stake matchup like Fury vs Paul?
That dream is close to becoming a reality and Tommy Fury has issued some horrible warnings for the problem child.
In a recent interview, Tommy had this to say about his opponent, âSerious business. Itâs the biggest of my life, of my career, but itâs not the toughest test. Iâm having tougher tests daily in the gym with proper world-class fighters. Youâve got to treat it as it is, but Iâll tell you honestly, man-to-man, Iâve trained for this like Iâm preparing to fight for the WBC title of the world.”
“Itâs a fight thatâs â itâs not like, a learning fight, like, âYeah, Iâm taking this fight and itâs a time for me to get better and practice things.â I donât like this man, and I will be looking to KO him in emphatic style,” he concluded.
What can we expect out of Fury vs Paul?
This is a very big fight for Jake Paul as this will probably make or break his name as a professional boxer. So far he hasn’t faced any true boxer and ‘TNT’ carries the legacy of his older brother Tyson. Fighting fans also want to know if the former YouTuber is legit or not.
Interestingly, the ‘Problem Child’ currently owns a stake at the PFL and many are expecting him to host a match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou under the super fight division. Jake isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to trash-talking his opponent as part of the pre-fight mental warfare.
The Cleveland native has recently announced the news of Fury’s child ahead of the couple and the British are naturally not happy.
The boxing match is currently scheduled for February 26.
