Rob Gronkowski has been one of my closest friends and teammates, Tom Brady. The two shares eleven years together, playing both for the Patriots and the Buccaneers. Gronkowski played his entire career with Brady, and when Brady moved to the Bucs’ side, Rob quickly came along.
So, when Brady decided to retire and posted the video on Wednesday, Rob Gronkowski might have been surprised, but he still managed to pull off a heartfelt yet hilarious message for his GOAT friend.
Earlier last month, Rob believed that Tom still had the game inside him, and while appearing on Fox, he said, “He can still play the game and he’s probably getting treatment on his arm as we speak right now. So, he’s going to be ready to go next year.”
“But let me tell you; it’s going to be whatever situation intrigues him the most. Whatever opportunity makes him the most excited to play the game of football, that’s where he will be next year,” Gronk added.
Now that Brady has retired, following in Rob’s footsteps for the second time. Gronk could not hold himself back from tweeting one of Brady’s most amazing tribute tweets.
What did Rob Gronkowski write in his tweet?
The former tight end and long-time teammate of Brady might have fallen while he laughed and wrote,
“Tommy, since I already wrote you a long retirement message last year, this time I shall say, welcome to the 2x retired club. You’re a legend and you always will be, my friend ♥️🏉 @TomBrady.”

With that amazing and beautiful tweet, Gronk brought back many insane football memories, leading the fans to flashback to the past with those joyful pictures of him and Brady standing side by side as they won five fantastic Super Bowls.
Besides that, in 141 games with Brady, Gronkowski had 620 receptions for 9,275 yards and 93 touchdowns. There might never be a pair like Brady and Gronk who managed to entertain huge crowds while enjoying themselves.
