A-Rod officially bid adieu to the Packers by posting a series of photos on his Instagram account from his tenure with the Packers with a lengthy heartfelt caption, thanking a litany of people including his teammates, fans, coaches, training staff, members of the front office, and many others working behind the scenes.
Acquiring the 39-year-old is a major shakeup for the Jets as they struggled in recent years and are facing a 54-year Super Bowl drought as well as the NFL’s longest active streak without a playoff appearance (12 seasons), hence, Aaron can prove himself to be the lost piece of the puzzle to turn a losing team into a winning one.
The Packers fans are surely going to miss their long-time hero on the field and the Jets fans will eagerly await to see if their new QB can continue his legacy and lead the team to grab the Super Bowl title in his first season after a lengthy Super Bowl drought.
