One’s harvest month is anothers’ complete devastation. Zach Wilson’s position as the Jets’ starting quarterback became precarious with Aaron Rodgers on the roster.
The Jets’ general manager, Joe Douglas, selected Wilson in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, behind a number of other highly skilled quarterbacks. The quarterback was made available by Douglas’ trade of quarterback Sam Darnold.
Zach was given high expectations by the Jets’ general manager, but as a rookie, he was unable to live up to them. He finished his rookie season with 13 touchdown passes, 11 interceptions, and only 55.6 percent of his passes completed. After recovering from preseason knee surgery, the Jets star missed the first three games of 2022 but finished the season with a passer rating of 72.8, 1688 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions in nine games.
Will the Aaron Rodgers trade result in Wilson’s termination as the starting quarterback?
After spending almost 18 years with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets on Monday in exchange for several draft picks. In exchange for the Jets’ 13th overall pick, a second-round pick, a sixth-round pick, and a conditional second-round pick in 2024, the Packers agreed to send the quarterback to the Jets along with their 15th overall pick and a fifth-round pick.
With this trade, the four-time MVP’s wish as well as the needs of the Packers, Jets, and Jets were all met. One party, aside from these three, undoubtedly had a nightmare yesterday as a result of the trade, and that party is none other than Wilson, the Jets’ struggling starting quarterback.
In 2022, he has thrown for 1,279 yards, four touchdowns, and five picks. The QB’s poor performance as a starter and the team’s intention to add another QB sparked rumors, but the 23-year-old ruled out everything by saying, “Yeah, I’m going to make that dude’s life hell in practice everyday.”
Zach received a lot of teasing from NFL fans after the former Packers were traded because of this statement, as Wilson has only completed passes of 154 yards or less in four of his seven starts so far in 2022.
Zach Wilson is going to make Aaron Rodgers life hell in practice every day.

As the starting quarterback for the Packers for 15 years, A-rod threw 475 touchdown passes and 105 interceptions. The seasoned quarterback has a career record of 150-79-1 and has been named to the AP All-Pro first team four times.
Although it appears that ZW intended to make life miserable for the replacement quarterback, the reality is that he is now in an even worse situation because he possibly no longer be the starting quarterback.
